The Sun Hydraulics RPGEQVV (RPGEQVV) is a fast-acting, pilot-operated, balanced piston relief cartridge designed to protect hydraulic components from pressure transients. This normally closed, pressure-limiting valve quickly opens and closes to manage pressure surges but may sacrifice some smoothness in operation. When the inlet port reaches the designated valve setting, the valve opens to the tank port, throttling flow to maintain pressure levels. The valve is designed for interchangeability across all 2-port relief cartridges, sharing the same flow path and cavity for its frame size.
