Upon venting the external port, and with adequate pressure at port 3, the valve shifts to an open position. It features unique construction that supports predictable switching at pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar) across ports 1 and 2 when the external drain is open and with a minimum pilot pressure of 400 psi (30 bar). The DKDDEHN valve includes an external SAE 4 vent port that can be directly connected to a pilot switching valve, such as the recommended Sun model DAA solenoid pilot valve. This setup ensures minimal leakage\u2014less than 10 drops per minute at 5000 psi\u2014between ports 1 and 2. This is a normally closed, balanced poppet, switching element. When the external vent port is blocked, the poppet remains in the closed position. Venting the external port shifts it to the open position, provided there is sufficient pressure at port 3.
