The Sun Hydraulics CXGELBN (CXGELBN) is a high-performance check valve designed for hydraulic systems requiring reliable, low-leakage one-way flow control in a three-port cavity configuration. This valve operates primarily as a standard two-port check valve with the third port being effectively blocked, making it suitable for applications where existing three-port cavities are utilized but only two-port functionality is needed. The CXGELBN model boasts an impressive capacity of 60 gpm (240 L/min) and can handle maximum operating pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar), ensuring robust performance even under demanding conditions. The valve features Sun Hydraulics' innovative floating style construction, which minimizes the risk of internal parts binding\u2014a common issue caused by excessive installation torque or cavity/cartridge machining variations. This design enhancement significantly enhances the durability and reliability of the valve over its lifespan. Additionally, it offers exceptionally low leakage rates, with maximum leakage constrained to less than one drop per minute (0.07 cc/min), which is critical in maintaining system efficiency and performance. Constructed to be corrosion-resistant, this cartridge valve is suitable for use in environments where corrosive elements are present. The model's physical dimensions include a hex size of 1 1/4 inches (31.8 mm) and an installation torque range between 150 - 160 lbf\u00b7ft (203 - 217 Nm). Weighing at approximately 1.60 lbs (0.70 kg), the CXGELBN provides a compact yet powerful solution for hydraulic check valve applications, ensuring seamless integration into various hydraulic systems without adding significant weight or bulk.

Free-flow, side-to-nose cheater check valves function as a standard 2-port check valve in a 3-port cavity with port 3 of the cartridge blocked off. These valves are useful in circuits where a check valve is required in an existing three port cavity.
- Two-port check valves share the same cavity for a given frame size, however, pay close attention as flow paths may be in opposite directions.
- Check valves offer extremely low leakage rates with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0,07 cc/min).
- Will accept 5000 psi (350 bar) at ports 1 and 2.
- Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH (see CONFIGURATION section). For further details, please see the Materials of Construction page.
- Incorporates the Sun floating style construction to minimize the possibility of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque and/or cavity/cartridge machining variations.
