The Sun Hydraulics YAJ (Material Number: YAJ) is a line mount manifold with a cross pilot body feature, designed to accommodate two open cavities with a T-2A cavity type. This manifold supports SAE 8 port sizes and features two mounting holes with a diameter of 0.42 inches (10.7 mm), drilled through the body for secure attachment. The manifold is constructed from 6061-T651 aluminum, chosen for its balance of strength, cost-effectiveness, machinability, availability in various forms, and excellent corrosion resistance. This material selection ensures durability and reliability in hydraulic applications up to a maximum system pressure of 3000 psi (210 bar). The design does not include anodizing, as it can negatively affect fatigue life and increase breakaway torque when removing components.
