The Sun Hydraulics RDHALSV/AP (RDHALSV/AP) is a direct-acting relief cartridge designed to safeguard hydraulic components from pressure transients by functioning as a pressure-limiting valve. When the pressure at the inlet port reaches the pre-set threshold, the valve opens to the tank port, throttling flow and limiting any further increase in pressure. This model is known for its smooth and quiet operation, with near-zero leakage, high dirt tolerance, immunity to silting, and rapid response time of approximately 2 milliseconds. The RDHALSV/AP can handle maximum pressures up to 5000 psi and has a capacity of 100 gpm. It features a floating style construction that minimizes internal binding due to installation torque or machining variations. The valve's design allows it to accept maximum pressure at port 2, making it suitable for cross-port relief circuits and load-holding applications.
