The Hydraforce 5616401V (5616401V) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting spool type hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve. It features an internal pilot and internal spring chamber drain, designed specifically to regulate pressure for secondary circuits in stable input flow systems. In its steady state, this valve facilitates bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 while maintaining a constant drain at port 3. When the pre-set pressure at port 1 is reached, the valve shifts to block flow at port 2, thus regulating the pressure at port 1. Additionally, the valve can relieve excess pressure from port 1 to port 3 over the set reducing pressure. Notably, adjustments on this model cannot be backed out of the valve and are designed to prevent springs from going solid.
