The Hydraforce 5614980 (5614980) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting spool type hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve. This valve is equipped with an internal spring chamber drain and a spool damping chamber, specifically designed to regulate pressure in secondary circuits. It allows for bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 in its steady state, with the spring chamber continuously drained at port 3. When a predetermined pressure is reached at port 1, the cartridge shifts to block flow at port 2, thus regulating the pressure at port 1. Additionally, it can relieve pressure from port 1 to port 3 over a variable value above the set reducing pressure. The valve features adjustments that cannot be backed out and prevent springs from going solid, ensuring reliable operation. Optional spring ranges are available up to 227.5 bar (3300 psi).
