The Hydraforce 5606104 (5606104) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, spool-type hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve. In its normal operating state, the PR08-32X facilitates bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 while maintaining a constant drain of the spring chamber at port 3. When a predetermined pressure is reached at port 1, the valve shifts to block flow at port 2, thus regulating the pressure at port 1. Additionally, in this mode, it can relieve excess pressure from port 1 to port 3 over a variable value above the set reducing pressure.
