The Hydraforce HSV12-20-0-U-00 (5540000) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is specifically designed to function as a load holding or blocking valve in applications that demand low internal leakage. During operation in its de-energized state, the HSV12-20-0-U-00 acts as a check valve allowing flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking flow in the reverse direction. When energized, the poppet lifts to open the flow path from port 2 to port 1, though it severely restricts flow from port 1 to port 2.
