The Hydraforce 5110536 (5110536) is a solenoid-operated, pressure-compensated, spool-type, normally closed, priority type proportional flow control regulator. This versatile valve can also function as a restrictive type, 2-way pressure-compensated proportional flow regulator when port 2 is blocked. Designed for precision and efficiency, the PV08-30 model regulates priority flow from port 1 to port 3 regardless of system working pressure, with the flow rate being directly proportional to the current applied to the solenoid. Excessive flow is bypassed out of port 2 and can be utilized for auxiliary functions if needed. It is crucial to avoid dead heading the priority line by external valving to prevent blocking of the bypass line. In restrictive mode applications where bypass port 2 is blocked, the flow rate out of port 3 remains consistent with changes in solenoid current despite varying load pressures at port 3. Operation With inlet flow at port 1 the valve will regulate priority flow out of port 3 regardless of system working pressure with flow rate proportional to current applied to the solenoid. The excessive flow will bypass out of port 2. The bypass flow CAN be used for auxiliary function control. Note: avoid dead heading of priority line by external valving to prevent blocking of bypass line. In restrictive mode applications bypass port 2 has to be blocked, flow rate out of port 3 remains proportional to current applied to the solenoid regardless of load (pressure) applied to port 3.
