The Hydraforce 5001026 (5001026) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. The SV0821 model operates by allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized; however, flow from port 1 to port 2 is significantly restricted under these conditions. Once energized, the valve's poppet closes against its seat effectively blocking the flow from port 2 to port 1. To enable flow from port 1 to port 2, the solenoid force must be overcome. This cartridge valve features a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat which ensure long life and maintain low leakage rates.
