The Sun Hydraulics RSBCKQN (RSBCKQN) is a pilot-operated, balanced piston sequence valve designed to supply a secondary circuit with flow once the inlet port 1 pressure exceeds the valve setting. This valve controls the pressure at port 1 relative to the drain port 3, remaining unaffected by back pressure at port 2 sequence up to the set limit. It can replace two-port relief valves for pressure regulation when there's return line pressure. The RSBCKQN model is interchangeable with all three-port sequence cartridges of similar frame sizes, maintaining identical flow paths and cavities. As inlet pressure at port 1 rises above the valve setting relative to drain port 3, pilot flow increases accordingly. The main stage orifice features a protective 150-micron stainless steel screen. This model has a minimum setting of 75 psi (5 bar) across all spring ranges and can handle pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar). The pressure setting of a sequence valve controls the pressure at port 1 relative to the pressure at the drain (port 3). These valves are insensitive to back pressure at port 2 (sequence), up to the valve setting.
