The Hydraforce 5601400 (5601400) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, differential area poppet type hydraulic relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits. It is particularly suited for applications requiring low hysteresis and minimal internal leakage. The RV08-22X model operates by blocking flow from port 2 to port 1 until the pressure at port 2 is sufficient to unseat the poppet. This valve features adjustments that cannot be backed out, ensuring stability and reliability in operation. It offers a variety of pressure adjustment options, including non-adjustable factory presets, with positive stops in options A, B, and C to prevent the springs from going solid. The valve can also be equipped with an optional bi-directional pressure seal for additional functionality. Constructed with a hardened poppet and cage, it promises long-lasting performance and durability. With optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi), this compact valve provides smooth response to pressure surges and fits into industry-common cavities, making it a versatile component in hydraulic systems.
